Dr. Sheena Jose, MD
Office Hours are Monday through Friday at Family Health Center - Columbia.
Dr. Sheena Jose is a board certified family physician practicing at the Family Health Center. She received her medical degree from Calicut Medical College and completed her Family Medicine residency from the University of Florida. She was awarded the Certificate of Excellence in Psychological Counseling and Mental Health. Prior to joining the Family Medicine residency she completed one year of surgical training at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine-Montefiore Medical Center in New York and two years of surgical training at the College of Medicine, University of Florida.
Dr. Jose offers comprehensive health care services to her patients; covering the full spectrum of family health needs. She specializes in pediatric and adult care for chronic illness, including hypertension, diabetes, and cholesterol. Dr. Jose has had extensive training in Surgery, which allows her to care for patients of all ages who need office procedures such as laceration repair, skin biopsy, mole and skin tag removal, superficial cyst removal and joint injections.
She spends her spare time with her family (husband and two boys) and enjoys traveling, cooking and gardening.
