Overview
We at Family Health Center are excited about hosting the 3rd Annual Family Health Center Golf Tournament, Monday, August 27, 2012. Come spend an afternoon enjoying time with friends and playing golf on one of central Missouri’s finest golf courses, The Club at Old Hawthorne. Your participation helps support Family Health Center and the vital services we provide.
Family Health Center provides medical, dental, and mental health services to families of the Columbia Area. Our mission is primary care with a focus on the medically underserved. The underserved are uninsured low income families and those families on Medicaid.
Our tournament is an 18 hole, four person scramble format. There will be prizes for first and second place teams, and individual prizes for longest drive and closest to the pin for both men and women. Come to the course at 11:00 AM to register and have lunch. Next, go to the driving range and putting green and warm up for the tournament. Then at 12:00 PM enjoy an afternoon of golf on a great golf course.
The purpose of the Golf Tournament is to raise funds to support the services Family Health Center provides to the uninsured low income families of the Columbia area. The cost of services provided to each golfer is about $95.00. These costs included golf cart rental, greens fees and services, meal and beverages, and gifts in the goodie bags. The remainder of the registration fee is a contribution to Family Health Center.
The Tournament sponsors are crucial for our fundraising purposes. We provide great networking and marketing value to each business who chooses to be a sponsor.
